Postage & Handling

Our aim is to charge postage as close as possible to the actual cost. We will use the most cost efficient method and our postage costs have no relation to the value of the order. We do not charge a "handling" fee. There are two main options for postage within Australia:

Australia Post within Australia

Most of our mail is sent by either Express Post satchels or registered post. $10 will cover the great majority of our orders although if it is less we will charge less. When calculating postage we consider the size and actual postage charge, registration charge and if special packaging is required (ie a print tube costs $2-3).

On most occasions we should have no problem working out the postal charge. However if you are ordering a large item and live in a remote area we will have to check postage to ensure we charge a realistic amount. If we think postage could be a significant factor we will always confirm before sending.

Courier

We use Fastway Couriers. For deliveries from Towmsville down to the East coast and around to Melbourne $10 will cover the majority of orders. For larger items courier may be more cost effective. However some inland destinations will not be covered by courier service. Couriers can not deliver to a PO Box.

Overseas Orders

Australia Post overseas postal rates appear to be very good value compared to costs from overseas to here. Since overseas customers do not pay the Government Sales Tax (10%) this savings subsidises postage. We will confirm postage prior to sending.
