IDF010 Israeli Para w/GPMG
Description
King and Country IDF010 Israeli Para w/GPMG
One of the most important weapons in the Israeli armory was the Belgian-designed and manufactured FN General Purpose Machine Gun. Produced and in operation since the early 1960’s this belt-fed, man-carried gun has been used and operated by many of the world’s leading armies. Here, this paratrooper walks forward with it ready, if required, to fire ‘from the hip’ if necessary. Great backup for his squad!
Note:All the K&C Israeli Paras are wearing the locally-designed and made olive drab combat uniforms. Some photos show Paras wearing a mix of French-made “Lizard” pattern combat suits but these were beginning to be phased out at this time. The fighting order worn by Israeli troops in ’67 still shows a ‘mix’ of American, British, French and Israeli items. Para helmets too were a combination of American and British steel helmets usually covered with netting.
The price shown is US$ and A$ price will be calculated at time of purchase.
