FW181-2(VIC) Marching (14th Batt. VIC)
Description
King and Country FW181(VIC) 14th Battalion Marching (VIC) - note colour patch will be different to the one in this image.
Note this figure will be done as a limited run to co-incide with the 2015 visit by King & Country. Others in this special run will be the 13th (NSW) and 16th (WA/SA) Battalions. The normal figures available are 1st (NSW), 8th (VIC) and 9th (QLD).
Handpainted 60mm metal figure.
14th Battalion (VIC) with the 13th, 15th and 16th Battalions formed the 4th Brigade, commanded by Colonel John Monash. It was Albert Jackas battalion.
Shoulder Patch: Light blue over Navy blue
The Battalion fought with distinction at Gallipoli before moving to France and the Western Front and fighting there for the remainder of the war as part of the Australian First Infantry Division.
